Dream Cars Exhibit.

Being frustrated at the fact that I have lived right next to the exciting city of Atlanta for years now and have still yet to see anything in it, I talked my good friend into going downtown with me, and by talked, I mean relentlessly badgered.

We decided to go to the High Museum of Art because they had an exhibit of prototype cars from ye day of old, and the two of us like cars. Not the Cars franchise by Pixar though, that junk is terrible. Come on Pixar, what the hell, you are better than 90 min commercials for plastic crap.

So here is the lobby. So fancy.

Here is the first car we saw. Timelessly classy. The amazing thing was that some dude just built that in his garage
More pictures of classiness. This thing was made with a wood frame. That's just crazy.
The butt of classiness. Still can't get over how someone just made this because they were bored.
Man, this car was so Jetsons it ain't even funny.
I mean, look at the console! What do those things even do?
So Jetsons.
Then there was this Scarab thing, which was supposed to be a living room on wheels.
Gotta love that rear end. I'd show pictures of the spacious interior, but you would just see a black picture.
This car marked around the time when the car designers of the world realized that aerodynamics were a thing.
And this one was one of the first designed in a wind tunnel.
Check out the swiveling headlights! (yeah, I know, you can't really see them. Because they are that aerodynamic)
And here it the tail end of aerodynamics. Car was huge yo, especially considering it is a two seater.

I'll post part 2 latter. Needless to say, there were many more cars. Also, to our pleasant surprise, the ticket not only covered the car exhibit, but to the rest of the museum as well! So that means even more pictures to come! Stay tuned!
